Postal Box Christmas Cards (Red)

 

Hello crafty friends!

Today I am sharing a few cards that I created using the Spellbinders Parcel & Post Mailbox dies. Christmas cards are my favorite cards to make and this little post box is super cute! There are so many variations that could be created from this die set. You will definitely see other cards using this die in a future post. I think I’m going to make similar ones using navy blue.

I wanted to keep my color scheme as simple as possible while using traditional Christmas colors. I decided that I would use red as my dominate color and green, gold, and white as my accent colors. Since I used more flat colored reds on for the mailbox I needed a red background that would stand out. That’s when I remembered the three packs of SimonSaysStamp holographic red card stock I had lol. To give the backgrounds a bit more dimension, I embossed them using various different folders in my collection.
