AECP: Let It Shine

Hello there crafty friends!

I'm here to share three cards that I created after completing the AECP Let It Shine Course. I hope this post inspires you to create something today!

Card One:

For this card I incorporated shiny elements in a few different ways. First, I used a gold embossing powder on the butterfly. Second, I used the Wink of Stella pen/brush on the wings of the butterfly and also on two of the embossed lines towards the bottom of the card. Third, I added a gold feather behind the butterfly. Fourth, I added some Gold Drip washi tape at the top of the card. Lastly, I stamped the sentiment in Antique Gold pigment ink.

Card Two:

For this card I incorporated shiny elements in two ways; I rubbed my Antique Gold ink pad over the raised portions of the embossed background and the letters were die cut from the Brushed Gold Metallic cardstock.

Card Three:

For the last card I created a shiny background using gold paint from the Metallic Watercolor Pan Set. The die cut feather and letters are also shiny as they was cut from the Brushed Gold Metallic Cardstock. It you pay close attention you will see that feather is see-thru. Thats because the card base is a sheet of acetone ;-) Fun!
